We redeveloped a 280-unit luxury apartment community in Westborough, MA. Constructed in 2002, the property comprises 14 buildings situated on 60 sprawling acres in one of the Boston area’s most sought-after suburbs. It offers a prime commuter location at the junction of Route 9, the Mass Pike (I-90), and I-495—and it’s just 1.5 miles from the Southborough MBTA Commuter Rail, providing direct access to downtown Boston.
A comprehensive unit renovation program included new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, engineered wood plank flooring, and updated lighting. Extensive amenity enhancements included a Halstead Club resident lounge with iPads, custom made fireplace, large screen televisions and communal seating areas, as well as a virtual yoga studio with Apple TV, children’s recreation room and student study lounge to serve the needs of the many families residing at the property.
Halstead Westborough’s improvements and upgraded resident services have elevated the building’s position within the community and surrounding submarket, allowing us to drive rent growth and increase resident retention.
